We have examined the revised draft of "The Hong Kong (Temporary Provisions) Order in Council, 1942" enclosed in your letter No.54109/41 of the 19th May and offer the following comments:-
(1) Section 2. It is assumed that "any
funds or moneys belonging to the Government of the Colony in the hands of the Crown Agents" includes any funds or moneys which may come into their hands subsequently.
(2) Section 2. (2) It is assumed that
payments on account of salary to a third party, e.g. an Insurance Company in this country, are covered.
(3) In the First Schedule the "Hong Kong
Dollar Loan Ordinance,1934 (11 or 1934)" should be
included.
